Laserfiche has been proactively expanding its privacy management and information security programs. Laserfiche’s goal is to more readily address rapidly changing privacy regulations applicable to its business, wherever they might be found throughout the world.
The General Data Protection Regulation promulgated by the European Union comes into effect on May 25, 2018. GDPR is the most robust regulation established to date by a governmental body. As a global company, Laserfiche is prepared. Laserfiche is committed to building its data protection policies by design and by default.

Privacy Notice and Privacy Shield Certification
Laserfiche is a certified EU-U.S. PRIVACY SHIELD Framework participant. It has updated its privacy notice to make it clear how individuals can contact Laserfiche regarding questions and concerns about the processing of their personal data.
Data Protection Officer
Laserfiche appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) as required by GDPR. The DPO’s role is to assist Laserfiche in complying with all privacy regulations.
Personally Identifiable Information
Laserfiche has conducted an internal audit of its systems, policies and practices surrounding storage of data to ensure that any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and other regulated information is maintained to comply with GDPR requirements and other applicable laws.
