CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA (Laserfiche International)—August 27, 2012—Laserfiche International (booth 25 & 26) today announced that Mr. Mike Re, CIO of Avis Fleet Services (AFS), will showcase how AFS uses Laserfiche enterprise content management (ECM) software to automate a variety of business processes, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
The presentation will take place at Gartner Symposium/ITxpo Africa on Wednesday, August 29, from 3:30 – 4:30 pm in the Roof Terrace Room at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
Named the best fleet management company in South Africa for five consecutive years, Avis Fleet Services runs a transaction-heavy AR and AP department. By integrating Laserfiche with an Oracle ERP system and the AFS fleet management and fleet accident management systems, AFS automatically routes digitised customer invoices for approval, boosting staff productivity while reducing printing and document storage costs.
According to Re, “Laserfiche has not only significantly enhanced the AFS business processes but it has also changed the way we do business, resulting in enhanced productivity and cost reductions—including substantial contributions to the AFS sustainability initiatives through reductions in our carbon footprint.”
Laserfiche International, a silver exhibitor, and Nashua, a local Laserfiche reseller, will be present at booth 25 & 26 throughout the event to answer questions about AFS’ use of Laserfiche software.
