LONG BEACH, CA—(Laserfiche)—February 24, 2010—Laserfiche today announced that Chris Wacker, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Laserfiche, has been named a 2010 CRN Channel Chief. 2010 marks the third time that Wacker has been named to the list.
“Being named a Channel Chief is one of the most prestigious honors in the IT industry,” said Kelley Damore, vice president and editorial director at Everything Channel. “This year’s Channel Chiefs offer tremendous insight into the who’s who of the channel.”
The top Channel Chiefs were chosen by Everything Channel editorial based on criteria including policy and program innovations made during the past year, the amount of revenue their companies generate through partners, their willingness to speak out publicly on behalf of the channel and the number of years they have dedicated to channel activities.
“During turbulent economic times, our 1,200 Laserfiche VARs have achieved average revenue growth of 10% per partner,” said Wacker. “Our aim is consistent, repeatable success. In 2009 we opened an office in Hong Kong to serve our international VARs and distributors. Our goal in 2010 is to help our channel partners continue to deliver a world-class product suite that cements their profitability along with customer success.”
