DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (November 7, 2013)—Computer News Middle East has named Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) the winner of the “energy sector deployment of the year” ICT Achievement Award. The awards celebrate Middle Eastern IT teams that have pushed the boundaries of technological innovation, improving the customer experience and having real impact on the bottom line.
ENOC, a subsidiary of Emirates Petroleum Products Company, is the leading integrated oil and gas group in the Middle East. ENOC’s IT team breathed new life into the company’s ECM strategy by implementing Laserfiche Rio and integrating it with Microsoft SharePoint.
Mr. Abdulmajeed, Director, IT Services, ENOC, said, “Laserfiche Rio is cost efficient, user friendly and easy to configure. One of the many departments that use Laserfiche Rio is the internal audit department, which automates the submission of Employee Acknowledgement and Conflict of Interest forms. This saves the company at least 6,000 hours of staff time a year, which translates to US $240,000.”
“Laserfiche admires the dedication, hard work and commitment to excellence that ENOC has shown in its enterprise rollout,” said Sean Tang, Vice President of International Business at Laserfiche International. “We are delighted that they are receiving the recognition they so richly deserve.”
