This year, Laserfiche is pleased to announce that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Jamco America have won Laserfiche Run Smarter® Awards for optimizing their business processes.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the largest sheriff’s department in the country, updated its HR onboarding processes, specifically in the area of applicant background investigation. The department, which processes an average of 50,000 applicants per year, streamlined applications that previously required more than 1,000 pieces of paper per applicant. Through this initiative, the department has saved significantly on paper, labor and investigation time, while improving document security.

Jamco America used Laserfiche to update and automate mission-critical processes such as a legally required training system and reports for stress testing. As a result, Jamco eliminated lost documents, increased communication and improved compliance enterprise-wide.
