Organizations Win Laserfiche Run Smarter Awards for Visionary Leadership

Laserfiche announced today that the City of Coppell, TX, and the Volta River Authority have won Laserfiche Run Smarter® Awards for visionary technology initiative.
“Organizations that pair innovative technology with visionary leadership have the potential to push entire industries forward,” said Chris Wacker, CEO of Laserfiche. “Through inspired strategy and implementation, the City of Coppell and Volta River Authority have strengthened connections across their organizations and generated new opportunities for efficiency.”
- City of Coppell, Texas: The City of Coppell created a new framework for archiving documents in Laserfiche, focusing on business process automation across the enterprise and integration with other systems. The initiative enabled the city to implement new, consistent protocols as well as eliminate legacy solutions and the data silos and costs related to them.
- Volta River Authority: Operating on the mandate of generating electricity under the Republic of Ghana, the Volta River Authority used Laserfiche to digitize its formerly manual, paper-based memo system. As a result, the authority expedited the sharing of information between departments, seen a reduction in the amount of paper being used for paper-based memos and improved overall efficiency.
Each year, the Run Smarter Awards recognize organizations that use Laserfiche enterprise content management (ECM) software to improve productivity, transform business processes and realize visionary initiatives. The Laserfiche Run Smarter Award winners were announced during the Laserfiche Empower 2017 Conference. In total, 31 organizations from around the world were honored during the event.
