Laserfiche Honors Aerospace, Transportation and City Organizations With Run Smarter® Awards for Accounting/Finance Optimization

Each year, Laserfiche recognizes organizations that use Laserfiche enterprise content management (ECM) to improve productivity, innovate processes and achieve exceptional business results. This year, Laserfiche is pleased to announce that three organizations have won Laserfiche Run Smarter® Awards for optimizing accounting/finance processes.

- Ducommun Incorporated, Carson, CA—Ducommun (NYSE: DCO) is the oldest corporation headquartered in California and develops solutions for aerospace, defense and industrial markets. Since implementing Laserfiche to digitize and centralize crucial drawings and specs, the company realized significant storage savings. In addition, Ducommun standardized its accounting department processes and automated accounts payable and capital appropriation request processes enterprise-wide.
- Avis Fleet, Johannesburg—Avis Fleet Services is the largest fleet management company in Southern Africa. By integrating Laserfiche with its financial management software, the company simplified its accounts receivable transactions, automating approval for 86,000 invoices processed each month, increasing security and transparency and reducing processing time by 15 to 25 percent.
- City of Boca Raton, FL—The world-class beachfront City of Boca Raton optimized its accounts payable process by replacing paper invoices with electronic forms. Using Laserfiche, the city automated invoice review and approval, improving internal operations and increasing vendor and customer satisfaction.
