HONG KONG (Laserfiche)—April 26, 2010—Laserfiche International today celebrates the grand opening of Laserfiche International Technology (Shanghai) Ltd. Laserfiche International Technology (LFIT) supports a staff of software engineers who will focus on tailoring the Laserfiche enterprise content management (ECM) suite to the Chinese market through product development, product localization and by providing online technical support to Chinese VARs.

“Laserfiche’s long-term commitment to China began in 2004, when it formed a representative office in Shanghai,” said Phyllis Chen, managing director of Laserfiche International. “Since then, the company’s presence in Shanghai has grown steadily. We’ve established LFIT as its own corporate entity in order to make Laserfiche ECM solutions more accessible to Chinese customers.”

LFIT recruits employees from the top 10 universities in China, including Shanghai Jiaotong University and Fudan University. To accommodate its recent and future growth, LFIT has moved into a 4,000+ square foot executive suite at 2000 Pudong Avenue. The office occupies the penthouse suite and has a panoramic view of the city.

In Hong Kong, Laserfiche International is also expanding rapidly. Opened in October 2009 to capitalize on the enormous potential for growth in the booming Asia Pacific region, Laserfiche International recently acquired an additional 2,000 square feet of office space to accommodate high demand for its products and services.
