Matches donations to Doctors without Borders, the American Red Cross and the Philippine Red Cross
HONG KONG (November 25, 2013)—To support the hundreds of thousands of people in the Philippines who have lost their families, homes and belongings, Laserfiche International (LFI) is launching a Challenge Program open to the entire global community of Laserfiche staff, VARs and users.
“We were devastated to learn about the terrible damage inflicted by Typhoon Haiyan,” said Phyllis Chen, Managing Director of Laserfiche International. “Our thoughts are with our local reseller, Metasystems Development, and everyone who has suffered as a result of this tragedy.”
Through the program, LFI will match all donations made to Doctors without Borders/Médicins Sans Frontières, the American Red Cross or the Philippine Red Cross dollar for dollar, up to a limit of US$10,000. Because of the urgency, and in anticipation of the great response from the Laserfiche community, LFI will make an immediate advance donation of US$5,000 to Doctors without Borders/Médicins Sans Frontières.
“Now is the time to do what the Laserfiche community does best—work together to support each another,” said Chen.
