Laserfiche Launches Integrations to Facilitate New Account Processing

LONG BEACH, CA—August 5, 2013—Laserfiche today announced the availability of new integrations that allow financial services firms to automate new account processing while eliminating the need for paper forms and wet signatures. When a firm integrates Laserfiche with its CRM system, Laser App forms-filling software and DocuSign’s eSignature platform, it significantly reduces the time it takes to open new accounts.
“Financial services firms that take advantage of the Laserfiche integrations with Laser App and DocuSign cut the time it takes to open new accounts from days to minutes and eliminate the hassle and expense associated with handling paper documents,” said Chris Wacker, Executive Vice President at Laserfiche.
New account processing with these integrations follows a simple, five-step process:
From an entry in the CRM system, the financial advisor sends new account data into Laser App, which auto-populates the account application and all related forms.
- With the click of a button in Laser App, these forms are sent into Laserfiche.
- With one click in Laserfiche Web Access, advisors can email the form to the account holder, requesting an e-signature.
- Once the account holder has “DocuSigned” the form, it is automatically sent back into Laserfiche.
- Laserfiche Workflow automatically launches compliance review and approval processes, after which it files the forms so that advisors can begin booking revenue.
“By combining the power of Laser App with Laserfiche, DocuSign and CRM, financial advisors and broker-dealers can achieve the dream of completely paperless new account processing,” said Robert Powell, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Laser App.
“Through its integration with Laserfiche, DocuSign’s eSignature transaction management platform streamlines and automates document signing to help financial services firms accelerate new account processing to achieve straight-through processing and delight clients,” said Steve Woodworth, Business Development Director at DocuSign.
Laserfiche will demonstrate the new integrations this week at its workshops for financial services professionals in Boston and New York City.
