Laserfiche Run Smarter® Award Winners Demonstrate Outstanding Use of Electronic Forms

Each year, Laserfiche recognizes organizations that use Laserfiche enterprise content management (ECM) to improve productivity, innovate processes and achieve exceptional business results. This year, Laserfiche is pleased to announce that four organizations have won Laserfiche Run Smarter® Awards for increasing operational efficiency with electronic forms.
“As we move toward a paperless, more digital workplace, electronic forms are a cost-effective way to enable employees to perform routine tasks quickly,” said Chris Wacker, CEO of Laserfiche. “These three organizations use electronic forms in critical business processes that have increased efficiency and boosted productivity. The following Run Smarter Awards winners use Laserfiche Forms, a web application that allows organizations to replace paper forms with electronic forms that collect and route information digitally from the start.
- Semper Augustus Investments Group, LLC, Denver—Registered investment advisor Semper Augustus manages $175 million for 115 clients. The firm uses Laserfiche Forms to simplify the distribution, approval and retention of documents that must comply with strict regulatory requirements. By moving to a digital environment, the firm eliminated many administrative tasks and experienced significant annual cost savings.
- City of Elgin, IL—The City of Elgin used Laserfiche Forms to automate the annual open enrollment process for health, dental and vision insurance for its 850 employees. The new process eliminates the need to manually review documents and data entry, saving a significant amount of staff time per year.
- Ramblers Worldwide Holidays Ltd, Lemsford Mill, England—Ramblers Worldwide Holidays organizes walking tours and holidays around the world. The company implemented Laserfiche to automate secondary sales—a process the company estimated would be managed by a staff of five. The process is now managed by a single employee. Using Laserfiche Forms, Ramblers simplified the collection of data from clients and tour leaders around the world, and enabled internal departments to communicate important information to sales managers, eliminating email trails and increasing efficiency and accuracy.
