Laserfiche Run Smarter® Awards: Case Management for Customer Satisfaction

Each year, Laserfiche recognizes organizations that use Laserfiche enterprise content management (ECM) to improve productivity, innovate processes and achieve exceptional business results. This year, Laserfiche is pleased to announce that two educational organizations have won Laserfiche Run Smarter® Awards for exemplary case management practices.

- Cégep à distance (Collège de Rosemont), Montréal— Cégep à distance is a public college offering distance education to more than 17,000 students each year, who represent more than 27,000 course registrations. Laserfiche enabled Cégep à distance to substantially reduce its paper consumption and aim toward a paperless environment. Also, the implantation of Laserfiche with the new exams scanning system generates savings of approximately $80,000 per year in packaging and postal charges.
- Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, Ottawa, Canada—The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario, and serves approximately 70,000 students with over 9,000 employees spread across the city. The school board uses Laserfiche to digitize and manage student files, reducing paper costs and safeguarding student privacy. Today, the board’s psychologists, social workers and speech pathologists use Laserfiche to gain immediate and secure access to information, enabling them to more effectively serve students.
