WASHINGTON, DC—(Laserfiche)—March 22, 2011— As the first Microsoft partner to obtain a DoD 5015.2 certification for its integration with SharePoint 2010, Laserfiche will demonstrate the joint records management solution at the AIIM International Conference & Expo @ info360 (booth 1316) at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.
Laserfiche first obtained DoD 5015.2 certification for its software in 2003. With the joint certification, Laserfiche now works with SharePoint 2010 to provide a unified business collaboration platform with comprehensive enterprise content management (ECM) functionality.
“Our integration with SharePoint 2010 gives customers a proven, agile way to quickly improve information governance,” said Tom Wayman, vice president of product strategy at Laserfiche. “With Laserfiche, content is immediately accessible and secure, regardless of if it is captured through SharePoint, scanners, fax servers, ERP systems, online forms, mobile devices or even digital cameras.”
The joint certification with SharePoint 2010 reflects a commitment from Laserfiche to develop agile ECM solutions designed to support customers who need:
- Transparent records management.
- Turnkey transactional content management.
- Complete document capture and imaging functionality.
According to a recent IDC report, Laserfiche “provides a complete offering without being overly complicated, enabling organizations to address the majority of their document and records management issues within a shorter time frame than other large ECM offerings.” (IDC Insight, Doc.#226739, January 2011).
The report further notes that “Laserfiche clearly has momentum on its side, in terms of growth, product development, and community acceptance. The company has been able to demonstrate a compelling value proposition to partners and customers, propelling it through a difficult economic climate.”
“Laserfiche is dedicated to extending value through our Professional Developer Partnership (PDP) Program, which fosters active collaboration among clients, resellers and third-party software developers,” added Wayman. “Because of Laserfiche’s active client and reseller community, our PDP members have seen their pipelines dramatically increase, in comparison to their other partnerships.”
