MONTREAL, CANADA (Laserfiche)—February 28, 2011—Laserfiche Strategic Services Canada Corp. (LSSCC) will today host a roundtable titled “Enterprise Content Mobility” during the CIO Canada Summit at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth in Montreal, QC.
This session will explore how governance, risk and compliance (GRC) standards can be maintained with a mobile workforce.
“In today’s mobile world, employees aren’t always sitting in front of their desktop computers, ready to add information to—and access information through—the organization’s enterprise content management system,” said Pierre G. Pagé, Managing Director of LSSCC. “Having an information governance strategy that allows employees to securely access information from mobile devices is essential.”
Roundtable attendees will learn:
- How GRC standards can be maintained with a mobile workforce.
- How to design an IT infrastructure that strikes the right balance between mobility and information security.
- How to extend GRC standards to mobile workers and devices.
More than 600 customers across Canada currently use Laserfiche enterprise content management (ECM) solutions, including TD Financial Services, Tim Horton’s, the City of Niagara, ON, Halifax Regional School Board, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, Hamilton Police Service and the University of British Columbia.
