Highlights how Laserfiche helps deliver better citizen services at IRMS 2013
LONDON, UK—May 19, 2013—Laserfiche International (booth #9) today announced that Mr. Louis Du Preez, Laserfiche Software Specialist for Global ECM Solutions, will reveal the step-by-step approach the London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) took to successfully automate business processes with Laserfiche enterprise content management at the Annual Conference of Information and Records Management Society (IRMS 2013). The presentation, “Digitising the Government Enterprise: How London Borough of Tower Hamlets Improved Information Governance,” will take place in the Balmoral Room on Tuesday, May 21 at 11:05 A.M.
The constant challenge for LBTH, one of London’s fastest growing and most densely populated boroughs, is to continually discover innovative ways to improve citizen service delivery while reducing costs. It has used Laserfiche since 2007 to automate business processes, integrate with existing ESRI GIS and Acolaid land management systems, and securely manage a wide range of document types.
According to Du Preez, who was IT project manager for LBTH when the project began, “Laserfiche has played a fundamental part in building a smarter working strategy at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. I’m pleased to share the steps necessary to ensure a successful rollout with IRMS 2013 attendees.”
Laserfiche International will be present at booth #9 throughout the event to answer questions about LBTH’s use of Laserfiche software and hand out copies of “Digitising the Enterprise,” an in-depth case study on LBTH.
