CoSign for Laserfiche will allow Laserfiche users to replace handwritten signatures with legally-binding digital signatures for electronic documents within the Laserfiche records management, document management and workflow environment. This announcement was made as Laserfiche hosts the 2008 Laserfiche Institute Conference for its value-added resellers (VARs) and users, who experienced the benefits of CoSign for Laserfiche first-hand at an ARX training session. Through CoSign for Laserfiche, users gain access to technology that can sign, seal and route documents for verification anywhere. This new capacity allows for expediting business processes and reducing costs, while maintaining document integrity and complying with regulations. Standard electronic signatures, when used with good record-keeping practices, ensure audit and regulatory compliance.
