Laserfiche Supports Remote Recruitment for RAAFA in Western Australia During COVID-19

South Perth, Australia, Nov. 5, 2020 — Laserfiche — the leading global provider of intelligent content management business process automation — is working with RAAFA in Western Australia, one of the state’s largest and most trusted not-for-profit organizations providing retirement-living and residential care services, to facilitate contactless staff recruitment during government-mandated COVID-19 restrictions.
“The health and well-being of our community of residents, staff and those who use our services is top priority,” said RAAFA Chief Operating Officer Tonia Zeeman. “We’re glad to be able to utilize Laserfiche® to enhance our digital recruitment and records management processes in order to provide necessary services to residents and ensure that we are adequately staffed during this unprecedented time.”
Working with Ricoh Australia, RAAFA implemented a Laserfiche solution to develop the Recruitment Pre-Employment e-form, allowing external candidates to submit job applications and supporting documentation digitally from their own personal devices. The solution has eliminated the need for physical documents and in-person meetings, supporting community social distancing efforts in Western Australia while increasing efficiency in the organization’s recruitment and onboarding processes. Since officially deploying the Recruitment Pre-Employment e-form in May 2020, RAAFA can process applicants and issue a contract 25% faster than with its legacy paper forms and manual processes.
As the organization’s electronic records management system, Laserfiche has also played a critical role in RAAFA’s business continuity throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Since implementation, RAAFA has digitized 2,000 boxes of archived records and improved compliance with industry regulations throughout RAAFA facilities, including six retirement villages and the Aviation Heritage Museum.
“Supporting organizations that provide care to patients and retirees is especially important during this global health crisis,” said Laserfiche Vice President of International Business Sean Tang. “We are grateful for the opportunity to help accelerate digital transformation for RAAFA so that the organization can continue safely serving residents and meeting community needs in Western Australia.”
